LUMPS 2's
I could sing Ms. Michelle's praises for days. She was exactly what our girls needed as the world was emerging from being locked down for 2 years. She took on a class full of two year olds that were born right around the start of a pandemic. And she did it with the patience of a saint and the energy of the Energizer Bunny! Her creativity is endless. My children loved all of her wild and crazy crafts and activities. Her loving and nurturing ways always set my mind at ease knowing my girls were in her care. She makes learning so fun. An absolutely blessing for the kids and parents! Our oldest daughter attended LUMPS from the 2's class all the way through kindergarten. We truly love this school and all of the teachers."

PreK4:
“We love Ms. Kristy! My daughter has some speech and anxiety challenges which makes me extra cautious on who I leave with my daughter’s care. I can confidently say that Ms. Kristy listened to my initial concerns and followed our game plan to build on my daughters confidence. She started pre-k4 with not being able to read, write her name or color in the lines with purpose. By the end of the year, she could color in the lines, write her name and all other letters very clearly, count to 50+ and even read several sight words. Her confidence sky rocketed as well. Ms. Kristy was sure to update me on my daughters “great progress” days and I could tell that Kristy genuinely loved my daughter and was beaming with pride. Pre-k4 with Ms. Kristy completed our second year at LUMPS and I am confident that year 3 in kindergarten at LUMPS will be the icing on the cake!” - Penny’s Mom
Ms. Becca and everyone involved in the LUMPS community hold such a special place in my family’s heart. My daughter was in Ms. Becca’s three-year-old class and my son has been lucky enough to have her two years in a row, in the three-year-old class and now in Pre-K. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at LUMPS, both academically and personally. Ms. Becca taught both my children the fundamentals of reading and writing. She has also instilled in them a passion for science, particularly animals. Both have also been proud to bring home art projects and perform songs they learned at school. Ms. Becca is an excellent teacher, and she is also a wonderful person. I feel comforted knowing that the values we teach at home are reinforced in her classroom. I am so glad she has been a constant part of the village I trust to help raise my children.
Ms. Meg is a fabulous director who genuinely loves her school and all the children in it. One of the many wonderful things I tell people in the community when they ask about LUMPS is how I absolutely love that Ms. Meg says good morning and compliments something about every child when they walk up in the mornings. “Hey XYZ, love your smile today!” “High fives sally, cute hair!” “Hi Ethan, you are looking so big today!”. What an incredible confidence booster for children every day and it teaches them how to accept and give a compliment. It makes me so happy to see! If Meg ever has a bad day, you will never know it. She beams pure joy.”- Penny’s mom

Ms. Amy taught Kindergarten to each of our three children as they rose through the ranks at LUMPS—each child with a unique learning style and personality. She introduced the material to them in a way that piqued their curiosity and encouraged them to stretch to develop new skills, all while creating a fun, low-pressure environment for learning. Their reading, writing, and math skills improved, even as they learned to love school, enjoying new friendships and the engaging activities Ms. Amy planned. When it was time for graduation, our children were well prepared to join a rigorous school where they excelled.Ms. Amy communicated well with me as a parent: I was kept well-informed of our students’ progress and felt free to ask questions. We all gratefully remember Ms. Amy and the entire LUMPS staff and how they encouraged our family to thrive.
